Today Vici turned 9. WeirdGirl is growing up.

This has been a fun year for you! Although you are a 'Tom-boy', you are maturing into a beautiful and wonderful young lady.

We are so proud of you, Vics... proud of the child you are, the young lady you are becoming and the woman you will one day be! You are a fabulous daughter, an exceptional student, xcellent sportsman and an amazing sister.

You are Carénè's bestest friend and a great role model to WildChild and I hope that the three of you will always be close.

Your sensitivity, free-spirit, determination and competitiveness makes you, you! Never change.

Thanx for all the unexpected and spontaneous hugs and butterfly kisses, they always brighten every cold grey Ukay day!

I can't help but worry about your fast approaching teenage years. I pray daily that God will help us stay close to one another and keep the lines of communication open. We will always be here to listen, to talk, and to pray with you no matter what, but always remember that even when you feel like you can't talk to us, you can always talk to God. He will guide you through. Keep your faith.

1. She was created by God just for me

5. She has learned to love things "I laaik" just to spend more time with me.
6. She gave me 3 beautiful Prinsessies.
7. She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
8. She knows what I want to say even before I finish my sentences.
9. She cries during sad movies, and pretend not to see my tears when I cry at the same time.
10. She works a well-paying, soul-sucking job so that I can work from home.
11. She works incredibly hard, and I am proud of what she’s accomplished.
12. She laughs at my stupid jokes.
13. She can laugh at herself and she has a great sense of humour.
14. She's so warm and soft.
15. She loves to get a hug from me.
16. She smells really good.
17. She's fun to tickle.
18. She looks peaceful, content and beautiful while she sleeps.
    
19. She loves games, she's very competitive, and I love her for that!
20. She is willing to put up with me, the 3 Prinsessies, and 2 cats.

30 July 1998 was the day I became a Dad for the first time.

My little Prinsessie is 10 years old today.

How do I write about how amazing and cool she is without sounding all boastful and bragging? From that first breath of air she took to fill her lungs and letting out a scream, the makers of any horror movie would want to copy, she occupied my heart.

We struggle, we fight, but we love one another madly and she can make me laugh like nobody else. Her spontaneous hugs she gives to me freely, brighten up any gray day the Ukay might chuck my way!

A free spirit, her mind wanders quickly from one thing to the next, not caring if what she imagines can be true in reality—for her, it is true that moment. She has a special bond with her Lavender Fairy.

She is sensitive and has a capacity for caring that reaches humanity’s potential. She is always thinking of others, loves to find ways to give to others and make them smile.

Her humor is advanced, has been for some time, as she has a remarkable talent for hearing sentences said by adults in life, in movies, on TV, and then integrating them correctly into her own sentences.

Her feelings are hurt easily, but she recovers quickly. She loves me, her Mom and two sisters, in spite of all our faults. Vici, her younger sister is her bestest friend and she won’t swop Clarize for anything in the whole wide world, even if the 4 year old annoy her sometimes!

She loves to learn, to express what she has learned for all to hear, and she is not afraid of trying. Last year she started playing the Saxophone and is the only one in the school, a fact that does not deter her one bit but rather, inspires her to try harder and motivates her because she feels special.

She brings me joy every single day, even on the days when we fight.
